# How to make it:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving some bacon fat in pan.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking up with a spoon, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook 2-3 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add tomatoes and cook 2 minutes. Stir in ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until slightly thickened, about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in cheddar and mozzarella until melted and smooth.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, meat mixture, chopped pickles, most of the bacon (reserve some for topping), and cheese sauce.
- Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining cheddar cheese and reserved bacon. Bake for 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with chives or green onions if desired. Serve warm.
