# How to make it:
01 - Wash blackcurrants thoroughly and remove any stems or leaves. Pat dry if using fresh fruit.
02 - Place blackcurrants in a large sterilized glass jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid.
03 - Add sugar over the berries, then pour vodka to cover completely.
04 - Seal the jar tightly and shake gently to mix all components.
05 - Store the sealed jar in a cool, dark place. Shake gently every 2 to 3 days to help dissolve sugar.
06 - After 3 to 6 weeks, taste to assess flavor development. When satisfied with flavor profile, strain through fine sieve or muslin into a clean bottle, discarding spent berries.
07 - Seal bottled liqueur and store in a cool, dark place. Allow 2 to 4 additional weeks of maturation before serving for optimal flavor development.
