Layered passionfruit, orange and pineapple drink with grenadine for a sunrise effect. Quick, refreshing.

# List of ingredients:

→ Fruit Juices

01 - 1/2 cup passionfruit juice (fresh or bottled)
02 - 3/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
03 - 1/4 cup pineapple juice

→ Sweetener

04 - 1 tablespoon grenadine syrup

→ Garnish & Extras

05 - Ice cubes, to fill two tall glasses
06 - 2 orange slices (one per glass)
07 - 2 fresh mint sprigs (optional)
08 - Passionfruit pulp, to taste (optional)

# How to make it:

01 - Fill two tall serving glasses with ice cubes so each glass is well chilled.
02 - Divide the juices between the two glasses: pour 1/4 cup passionfruit juice into each glass, then add 3/8 cup orange juice to each (divide 3/4 cup total) followed by 2 tablespoons pineapple juice per glass.
03 - Slowly pour 1/2 tablespoon grenadine syrup down the inside edge of each glass so the syrup sinks and gradually rises to form a layered sunrise.
04 - Top each glass with an orange slice and a mint sprig; add a spoonful of passionfruit pulp if desired for texture.
05 - Serve immediately without stirring to preserve the layered appearance.

# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • No one can resist the magical ombre layers that look complicated but are secretly simple.
  • The passionfruit and orange flavors are so fresh and lively, they instantly spark a party mood—even for just two.
02 -
  • If you rush the grenadine pour, the layers will dissolve and you'll lose the sunrise effect.
  • Using room temperature juice melts the ice too fast—always chill your ingredients first for best results.
03 -
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer beforehand for extra crisp layers.
  • If you're making a big batch, add the grenadine to each glass right before serving for the best effect.
